One Time Sessions

Just want to play with clay for a day? Our One Time Sessions are the perfect way to dip your toes (well, your hands!) into pottery without the pressure of a full multi-week class. Whether you’re feeling like a mad scientist at the wheel, a sculptor with a vision, or just want to make something colorful and fun—we’ve got you covered.

Choose your own clay adventure:

• 👐 Hand Building – Squish, pinch, and slab your way to a one-of-a-kind creation.

• 🎯 Wheel Throwing – Sit at the pottery wheel and give it a spin—we’ll help you center and shape something cool.

• 🎨 Glazing – Love color? Glaze your bisque or choose a pre-made bisque of piece and make it your own with glaze magic

Materials and firing included.  Bisque and/or glazed items will be ready 1-2 weeks after the class.  When pieces have been bisque fired, students will be notified and encouraged to sign up for another session to glaze the piece(s).

These are laid-back, self-guided sessions with friendly instructors around to jump in when you need help, cheer you on, or show you the ropes. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and maybe a friend or two!

Pieces completed in these classes will not be ready to take home at the end of the session.  We cannot guarantee high quality results for pottery made during the session, please remember that some ceramics may not make it through the firing processes. However, please remember this is just an introduction to clay or glazing. We cannot guarantee high quality results for pottery made during the session. Our goal is to provide you with a great event to remember!

Art Off Center has a 30 day hold policy, pieces will be disposed off if not claimed by the end of that period after bisque or glaze firing.

Each session is priced for one person.

Please understand that, due to the program structure for this introductory class to ensure all class participants can get the most out of the class, late comers will not be admitted once the class begins.

There is no refund for late arrivals, cancellation, or no-shows. 

Parking on Talbot Street.

We’re located on Potter’s Alley, direct entrance off Talbot Street/Main Street on the alley side of the McCrory Timmerman building.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes and expect to get a bit messy.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is suitable for 14+.

What’s the refund policy?

These classes are non-refundable and reschedules are not offered. Registrations may be transferred to another adult. Please understand that Art Off Center is a small business, and we rely on customers like you to help this studio thrive!
