These events can mark a special event, a birthday or just a good time to get a group of friends together, consequently leaving attendees with a lasting memory of the event! Adult’s Clay Parties or Team-Building Workshops
A clay party is a fantastic way to celebrate milestones*, bond with co-workers*, or reconnect with old friends*. During the 2 hour or 2 1/2 hour clay parties, attendees will enjoy a quick tour of AOC’s facility, see a wheel demonstration (depending on class type), and work with a teacher to create a hand built clay project. Projects can be picked up 1-2 weeks after the party or event.
Capacity: 4 to 8 adults, max 6 adults for wheel throwing, max of 8 adults for a hand building event.
Pricing: $75 per person for a 2-hour party, with a $200 deposit required at time of scheduling. Hold the time via online deposit/registration after scheduling date with studio.
Length: 2 hours for parties without refreshments, 2 1/2 hours for parties with refreshments
Project notes: Firing fees included in the pricing fee. Projects will be ready for pickup approximately 1-2 weeks after date of your party. Please discuss project ideas with the instructor in advance of the event/party.
Food and beverages: Please discuss when scheduling the event in order to accomodate time needed. AOC can accommodate simple food and beverages but all food, beverages, decorations, and paper goods must be provided by participants. AOC requests that participants take care of setup and cleanup, therefore, please arrive 20 minutes early for setup to ensure that participants receive the full class time.

Claydies Night-Girls Night Out
Claydies Night is a great way for a group of friends to get together and decorate a bisque project. This is a “paint your own pottery” type event. Celebrate milestones* or reconnect with old friends*. During the 2 hour or 2 1/2 hour Claydies Night, attendees will enjoy a quick tour of AOC’s facility, and work with a teacher to decorate a bisque project. Projects can be picked up 1-2 weeks after the party or event.
Capacity: 4 to 6 adults
Pricing: $70 per person for a 2-hour party, with a $140 deposit required at time of scheduling. Hold the time via online deposit/registration after scheduling date with studio.

Children’s Clay Parties-Hand Building
Clay parties are a great way to celebrate milestones with kids, and to get their creative juices flowing*. During our clay parties, kids will get to hand-build a project that they can take home at a later date. Projects are tailored to child’s interest and age group—for example, past projects have included splatter platters, art pots with coils, and pinch pot animals.
We have 2 party options available–a 1-½ hour party that does not include time on site for cake and other refreshments, and a 2-hour party that allows time for decorations, food, and other refreshments.

Children (Ages 6+):
Age Range: Ages 6 and up
Capacity: 4 to 8 children (one teacher will be provided).
Length: 1 ½ hours for parties without refreshments, 2 hours for parties with refreshments
Pricing: $275 for parties without refreshments, $325 for parties with refreshments, for groups of up to 8 children. A $150 deposit is due at the time of scheduling. Hold the time via online deposit/registration after scheduling date with studio.

Teen’s Clay Parties–Wheel Throwing
Teens (Ages 13+):
A wheel throwing party can be a great event for teens. Schedule two hours of fun for teens interested in trying out the potter’s wheel for the first time. Enjoy a fun and messy party while creating useful cups, mugs or a bowl on the potter’s wheel, and pick up the projects approximately 1-2 weeks after date of the party.
We have 2 party options available–a 2-hour party that does not include time on site for cake and other refreshments, and a 2-½ hour party that allows time for decorations, food, and other refreshments.

Food and beverages: For decorations, cake, or other refreshments, please discuss when scheduling the event and we will schedule the longer duration event/party time. All food, beverages, decorations, and paper goods must be provided by parents/guardians. Please arrive 20 minutes early for setup to ensure that you receive your full class time. We recommend that you bring the following: table covering, paper goods (plates, napkins, cups, forks), food and drinks (pizza, birthday cake, juice etc.), candles and matches.
Special needs: Please share with us any information you think we might find useful about special needs of children in your birthday party group such as attention, anxiety, sensory, mobility, hearing, or vision issues. We’ve found that when parents tell us in advance, rather than at the time of the party, we can provide the best possible party experience.
