April Introductory Clay Class-Hand Building
Join us at Art Off Center to learn to create and experience clay at a working pottery studio in Taylor, Texas. Let’s get muddy! Our one time, introductory classes are a great way to try to clay for the first time via hand building methods. Get a group together for a fun night out or make it a date night!
This class is dedicated for all beginners to make a single themed piece in class. For April, we will be using a template system to make a large decorative vase using the CircleMatic, Sandi Peirantozzi set. You’ll use hand decorated slabs that you create with rollers, stamps or carving tools. No experience needed! We will fire your pieces in our kiln with a single glaze of your choice from our studio selection. We’ll have the pieces ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks after the class.
We want you to have a great time creating pottery whether you are a beginner or more advanced. However, please remember this is just an introduction to clay. We cannot guarantee high quality results for pottery made during the session. Our goal is to provide you with a great event to remember! Art Off Center has a 30 day hold policy, pieces will be disposed off if not claimed by the end of that period after bisque firing.

Each session is priced for one person.
Please understand that, due to the program structure for this introductory class to ensure all class participants can get the most out of the class, late comers will not be admitted once the class begins.
There is no refund for late arrivals, cancellation, or no-shows.
Parking on Talbot Street.
We’re located on Potter’s Alley, direct entrance off Talbot Street/Main Street on the alley side of the McCrory Timmerman building.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and expect to get a bit muddy.

What’s the refund policy?
These classes are non-refundable and reschedules are not offered. Registrations may be transferred to another adult. Please understand that Art Off Center is a small business, and we rely on customers like you to help this studio thrive!
