Ceramic Bead and Jewelry Class

 

Join us at Art Off Center to learn to create and experience making clay jewelry and beads at a working pottery studio in Taylor, Texas. Let’s get muddy in the historic downtown area!

This is a two week class for beginner and intermediate clay students. We’ll use hand made and molded methods to product clay beads and jewelry parts for students during the first class, then glaze all the creations during the second class.

This jewelry class is a great creative class to make some personal items utilizing clay, glaze and some glass too!

 

Fun class for all beginners to make a themed pieces in class.  No experience needed!

We want you to have a great time creating pottery whether you are a beginner or more advanced. However, please remember this is an introduction to clay. We cannot guarantee high quality results for pottery made during the session. Our goal is to provide you with a great event to remember!

Entrance to the studio is on the alley side of the McCrory Timmerman building, on Potter’s Alley. Walk past covered parking in the alley off Talbot Street, to the double door entrance with our logo right beside the door.

Level: Beginner +

Includes cost of slab(s) of clay, underglazes, glazing and firing.

Registration and Refund Policies:

• Tuition is due in full at time of registration.
• Workshops with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled, participants will be moved to next session.
• Workshop registrants must be a minimum age of 12+.
• Art Off Center reserves the right, if necessary to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. Participant workshop fees will be fully refunded.
• Art Off Center can not be held responsible for travel arrangements.
• Due to the program structure for this introductory class to ensure all class participants get the most out of the class, late comers will not be admitted once the class starts
• There is no refund for late arrivals, cancellation or no-shows.
