One Time Session-Glazing

Let’s get decorating!  Our one time class for glazing clay bisque items.  This  is a great way to gain experience using underglazes, commercial glaze or our dipping glazes made at Art Off Center.

The class fee includes the cost of instruction, wax, underglazes, oxides, glazes and firing for each hour and a half session.  We’ll have the finished pieces ready for pickup within two weeks.

This is a great way to experience how to finish bisque clay items for the last step in the ceramic process.  Pieces completed in these classes will not be ready to take home at the end of the session.  We cannot guarantee high quality results for pottery made during the session, please remember that some ceramics may not make it through the firing processes.

When pieces have been glaze fired, students will be notified. Art Off Center has a 30 day hold policy, pieces will be disposed off if not claimed by the end of that period after the final glaze firing.

We want you to have a great time creating pottery whether you are a beginner or more advanced. However, please remember this is just an introduction to glazing. We cannot guarantee high quality results for pottery made during the session. Our goal is to provide you with a great event to remember!

Each session is priced for one person.

Please understand that, due to the program structure for this introductory class to ensure all class participants can get the most out of the class, late comers will not be admitted once the class begins.

There is no refund for late arrivals, cancellation, or no-shows. 

Parking on Talbot Street.

We’re located on Potter’s Alley, direct entrance off Talbot Street/Main Street on the alley side of the McCrory Timmerman building.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes and expect to get a bit messy.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is suitable for 14+.

What’s the refund policy?

These classes are non-refundable and reschedules are not offered. Registrations may be transferred to another adult. Please understand that Art Off Center is a small business, and we rely on customers like you to help this studio thrive!
