Peacock Glazing-Learn to decorate a bisque bowl in a lovely peacock feather style pattern with assorted commercial and Art Off Center glazes. This lovely glaze technique will also utilize fluxes.
Please bring or purchase a bisque bowl for this class, we’ll have a stock of mid-fire bisque bowls on hand.
In this series of decorating workshops, the instructors at Art Off Center, will be covering various pottery decoration techniques that will encompass decorating on bisque or leather hard clay depending on the class offered. Color, line and shape, you’ll be guided through how to decorate your pots and sculptures with various techniques in the assorted classes.
The class fee includes the cost of instruction, glazes, firing and tools. We’ll have the glazed pieces ready for pickup in 1-2 weeks after the class.
Level: Beginners +
We’re located on Potter’s Alley, direct entrance off Talbot Street/Main Street on the alley side of the McCrory Timmerman building. Parking on Talbot Street.
Registration and Refund Policies:
- Tuition is due in full at time of registration.
- Workshops with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled, participants will be moved to next session.
- Workshop registrants must be a minimum age of 16+.
- Art Off Center reserves the right, if necessary to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. Participant workshop fees will be fully refunded.
- Art Off Center can not be held responsible for travel arrangements.
- Due to the program structure for this decorating class to ensure all class participants get the most out of the class, late comers will not be admitted once the class starts
- There is no refund for late arrivals, cancellation or no-shows.
