Throwing Large Workshop

Class Description: A one day workshop that covers throwing larger forms of 5-7 lbs on the wheel with guest instructor Eric Jackson. Come and enjoy learning new ways of throwing
large forms, from vases to bowls to platters. Eric’s background includes production and studio pottery, as well as a long time gig teaching clay at The Contemporary Austin.
This workshop includes instruction, clay, glazes and all firings. Glazing can be completed during any Open Studio time.
Level: Intermediate +
ERIC JACKSON: BFA, The University of Texas at Austin. Jackson is an experienced potter who has been working regionally since 1986. His work has been displayed at the San Antonio Art League Museum and Blanton Museum of Art, in addition to local galleries.
