Let There Be (Candle) Light!

Make your holiday season a little brighter with a handmade ceramic luminary tree! In this hands-on clay class, you’ll hand-build a cone-

shaped tree, carefully pierce the surface to let the light shine through, and create a matching catch plate for your candle.

The result? A festive little tree that glows with cozy holiday magic—and looks much more impressive than the one you made out of construction paper in second grade.

Grab your friends for a girls’ night out with clay! No pottery experience necessary, just a willingness to get your hands dirty and embrace your creative side. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind holiday decoration made by you.

Join us at Art Off Center to learn to create and experience clay at a working pottery studio in Taylor, Texas.

This class is dedicated for all beginners to make a single themed piece in class.

Includes cost of clay slab, underglazes, glazing and firing.

We want you to have a great time creating pottery whether you are a beginner or more advanced. However, please remember this is just an introduction to clay. We cannot guarantee high quality results for pottery made during the session. Our goal is to provide you with a great event to remember! Art Off Center has a 30 day hold policy, pieces will be disposed off if not claimed by the end of that period after bisque firing.

Each session is priced for one person.

Please understand that, due to the program structure for this introductory class to ensure all class participants can get the most out of the class, late comers will not be admitted once the class begins.

There is no refund for late arrivals, cancellation, or no-shows. 

Parking on Talbot Street.

We’re located on Potter’s Alley, direct entrance off Talbot Street/Main Street on the alley side of the McCrory Timmerman building.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes and expect to get a bit muddy.

This event is suitable for 8+.

What’s the refund policy?

These classes are non-refundable and reschedules are not offered. Registrations may be transferred to another adult. Please understand that Art Off Center is a small business, and we rely on customers like you to help this studio thrive!
